my employer ask me to send my original documents from india for visa purpose. is this a rule

I have got an opportunity to teach yoga in china. i have done almost process but my company needs my original documents (Including my educational certificates) send to china for visa purpose. is it true? is it safe? kindly direct me.

Usually, your original education certificate is needed when your employer applies for the work permit for you. It is true. Find a reliable express company to do that.
