what to do during the golden week of china national holiday?

Hi! We are arriving in Beijing on Sept. 27 and leaving on Oct. 7. We thought we might see the most popular spots like the Forbidden City and the Great Wall before the Golden Week. We are open to taking day trips outside the city. Can you suggest some less crowded spots inside or outside of Beijing for those extremely busy days? Thanks in advance!

Yes, there are several scenic spots in Beijing that may have less tourists during the Golden Week.You are advised to tour around Baihua Mountain, Black Dragon Pool, Botanical Garden, Fenghuangling Nature Park, Lingshan Mountain, Longqing Gorge and Qinglong Gorge. Have a nice journey!
