how to plan 2 days trip: shangri la - tgl(hike) - lijiang?

We are thinking about the following plan (in October):1. Arrive to Shangri-La by evening flight from Chengdu2. Spend a night in Shangri-La. Early morning visit to Songzanlin Monastery.3. Car transfer to the starting point of the TLG hike.4. Hike to some Guest house after 28 bends. Night at the guesthouse.5. Continue hike from early morning for the whole day. Car transfer to LJ.Is our plan reasonable? If so what TGL Guesthouse is most convenient for our plan to stay for a night?

Yes, your plan is reasonable. You may consider the Tea-Horse Trade Guest House or Half Way Guest House. The Tea-House Trade Guest House is much closer to the 28 Bends. A standard room there is around CNY100/night. The standard room in the Half Way may cost about CNY150/night.
