iam a frequent traveller to china. Can i get a visa for with one yr as validity?

what docs should i submit for the same

Yes, that's possible.
If you want to apply for the tourist L type, you should prepare a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation.
