About:Visa Policy of China

Hi, im a uk passport holder and my husband and I want to travel to Asia.

We will fly: London-Dubai-Tokyo and then shanghai-dubai-london with Emirates. We will book separate flights from Tokyo-Seoul-Shanghai. We are planning to stay in shanghai for 5 days but we may either arrive from Tokyo into shanghai or from Seoul. Would we still qualify for the 144 visa?
