About:China Tourist Visa

I am leaving Sunday April 9 for Hong Kong and visiting Shenzhen for business.

I will be in China from Monday evening through Friday April 14th. do i need a visa for this trip and if I do can I apply in Hong Kong for a visa?

You do. Applying in Hong Kong is difficult for those without HKIDs and may require the help of a travel agency, and even if they decided to accept your application, it can take a week or more to process it.
