About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it possible to use the 72 hour visa if you fly back to the same country you came from?

Im planning to visit Xi'an for a weekend. Im flying from Singapore and returning to Singapore. Is it possible to use the 72 hour free transit in this case? I hold a passport that is qualified under the 24 Schengen Agreement Countries

No, you can't have 72 hours free transit because you're not in transit. So you should get a tourist G type in advance.
