How can I get to the train station from Guangzhou to Guiyang? Is the train station close to the airport?

The high speed trains to Guiyang depart from Guangzhou South Railway Station, which is not near the airport. The south railway station can be reached by Subway Line 2 and Line 7. You could take Subway Line 3 from the airport to Jiahewangang station and then change to Line 2 to get to the train station. The metro ride takes around 1.5 hours. If you take a taxi directly, the journey takes about one hour and costs about CNY160.
