mount huangshan from shanghai

Question

Am taking the shanghai flight depart 12.40pm to arrive tunxi 1.55pm. Can anyone advise if its possible to make it to the hotel on the mountain top in the same day..? And if you can give me detailed advise on how to get to the hotel on the mountain top by cable car. Thanks

Upon arrival at Tunxi Airport, you may take a taxi to Huangshan North Railway Station first and then take a direct bus there to the mountain. The whole journey might take around 1.5h. You can totally check in the hotel on the mountaintop in the same day.The direct bus will arrive at the southern gate of the scenic area. Then, transfer to the shuttle bus to Yungu Temple and take the cable car there to White Goose Range. Later, hike for around 30min to the Beihai Hotel.
