Cab you use F visa to apply for a non paying job or work experience? Kind of like an internship?

Alice, I heard that foreigners can apply for a work Z type for internship as of April 1, 2017. So you can try to apply for a Z type directly. I'm not sure whether the F type is suitable for you because it's often for those who come to China for official visit.0
