About:China Visa

Passport, resident permit for Indian child born in China

Hi, we are Indian citizens staying in China. Our baby born in China, we got the birth certificate from the hospital. Now what to do next to obtain passport and residence permit, and what are the other rules like do we need to go outside China within 180 days, we need to report entry exit office within 60 days after born etc?

First inform your embassy that you want a passport for your baby. They will ask you to fill the form and add the baby's birth certificate. When you get the passport, you can apply visa at the PSB office for the child without leaving You don't need to worry about reporting the baby to any office now, it's not necessary . Just wait for the passport

Generally, is it common to bring baby to embassy for passport?
