About:Kunming Airport Transportation

Which bus route goes from Kunming Airport to Medical University?

I read I needed to take the 1 (2 stops) and then switch for the 111 (9 stops). Is that correct? Also, is it relatively easy and safe to transfer and walk outside after 9pm on a Sunday night? Is the transfer free or do I need to buy 2 tickets? Thanks for the help.

Upon arrival, you can take Airport Express Line 1 for 3 stops to West Inn first. If you arrive after 9pm, there is no public bus to the university. As a result, you may take a taxi to the university which usually costs around CNY10. In addition, you should buy the ticket of Airport Express when you take it.
