flight shanghai to hunagshan

Question

Hi, if we fly Shanghai to Hunagshan & arrive 2pm. With an aim to visit & cable car Mount Hunagshan, what would you recommend we do next ? Can we get from airport (and how, taxi or bus) to cable car (closing time 4.30pm) in time to get onto the mountain. Will we have time to make it? Stay the night at the top. Or do we just stay at the bottom and cable car the next morning ? Thanks for your expert advise.

I think you should take taxi from the airport to Mt. Huangshan directly. It may take around 1.5 hrs and CNY150 per cab. If you can arrive before the closing time, it is better that you take cable car up and stay the night at the top. Then you can see the sunrise the next morning.
