attraction nearby stone forest

Question

We plan to visit Stone Forest and places nearby in one day trip.  Appreciate if someone can advise what are the places we must go nearby to Stone Forest  ? Can they be Dianchi and Yuantong Temple or any other places which are more interesting ?What is the most convenient means of transportation from Stone Forest to these places.  Is it possible to take bus to these places ?

Hi, Dianchi and Yuantong Temple is in Kunming city, but Stone forest is located in somewhere about 120 kilometers (75 miles) from Kunming. You should visit Stone Forest first and visit Dianchi or Yuantong Temple after you get back. You can go to Kunming East Coach Station to take bus to Stone Forest. Bus fare is around CNY 25.
