Are Debit Cards accepted by merchants, hotels and restaurants?

Hi, Debit Cards are not common to use for personal consumption in China. Credit cards are only accepted at the hotels, big restaurants or shopping malls.

Cash by Chinese currency RMB is more popular accepted by merchants, shops and restaurants. So it is suggested that you exchange some Chinese currencies in your country before leaving.
