If you enter China for TV filming purpose, you may need to apply for a work Z type.
You should first prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its photocopy, the application form, a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit. The inviting entity will get the invitation letter for you.
Next, submit the application to the CVASC.
