About:China Visa Application in UK

We are only staying in Beijing for 79 hours. We miss the 72 hour free transit by 7 hours.

It seems unfair to have to pay £151 each for a visa for such a short stay. Any idea if there is a way around this please??

Steven, sorry, I’m afraid you have to apply for a visa for that. You can apply for a 2-year one which costs the same as single-entry one. The 2-year one will allow you to enter and exit China for multiple times within 2 years. It will be preferable.
