is it possible to go on the huashan west peak for a day?

Hello, we are going to  Mt. Huashan on April 10, 2017. We are totally beginners but we would like to try climbing the West Peak only as we have only one day in Mt. Huashan. Any advice would be greatly needed and aprreciated.

It is possible to visit the West Peak of Huashan for a day via cable car. You can take the cable car to the West Peak directly and walk around at your own pace before getting down the mountain from the West Peak. If you want, you may also hike from the West Peak to the North Peak for the cable car down. The hike takes about 2-3 hours.
