About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

My friend has sponsored her husband and he will be flying to Canada next week,

in transit through Beijing. He has a Myanmar Passport and all his Canada Immigration Papers are approved. Will he need a Chinese Visa to fly through Beijing and if so, where does he apply?

If he transits in Beijing for not exceeding 24 hours, he can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. No visa will be needed then.
