My passport expires two months after travel date

Is my passport still a 'valid' travel document if it only has a couple of months left till expiry?

Dom, have you got the visa? If yes, it doesn't matter as long as you leave China before your passport expires. If not, you should renew your passport because a six-month remaining validity is required when applying for the visa. Well, if you want to enjoy the free transit policy, I also advise you to renew your passport to save troubles.
