How long is one tourist visa? I am planning to go there for 39 days.

It usually allows you to stay in China for 30 days, but it's not absolute. If you indeed need 39 days, you can apply for a longer stay duration and the consular officer will take it into consideration. Anyway, if you only get 30 days, you can extend it when you are in China.0
