I was wondering if a vist to Datong from Yangzhou would be possible to do in one weekend?

You may have a tight schedule if you plan to travel there in two days. You are suggested to take a long distance bus to Nanjing at Friday noon. Then take a flight to Taiyuan in the afternoon. You may spend a night in Taiyuan and catch the early flight to Datong Yungang Airport. Upon arrival, you can have some rest and start your exploration of the city.
