About:China Visa

I am a British Citizen, married to a French national living in Paris.

We travel from Paris to China and then on to Taiwan. On return trip we will spend a full 24 hours in Beijng waiting for return flight to Paris and wish to visit the city. Do we need a visa for this 24 hours stay over with no hotel involved ?

No, you won’t need a visa for that. You will qualify for the free transit in Beijing.
