About:China Visa

Hi, we have Irish passports and live in the Uk: we wish to get a visa for mainland China

where we intend to travel for about 2 weeks - how much will it cost, and can we get it cheaper if we obtain it in Hong Kong: many years ago we got our visas in Hong Kong, it was considered the best place to get a visa - is that still the case? Would we be able to get it in 3 days? What would be required of us?
Thanks.

Patricia, a single-entry tourist L type costs 86 pounds per person.
Usually, it’s not easy for you to apply in HK if you don’t have HK residence permit.
You need to provide your entry record for UK, passport and its copy, the application form, a recently-taken passport-style photo, round trip air tickets, and hotel reservation.
If you choose the express service, you can probably get the result within 3 working days.
