Mt Huashan in November

I would like to hike the 5 peaks of Mt Huashan and do the plank walk, and probably avoid cable car use. I read the the temperature in Xi'an can get down to about 3 degrees Celsius at this time of year, but is fairly dry. I just wanted to know what the chance of snow is at this time of year, and the chance that the passes, particularly the plank walk are closed?
thank you

Yes. The temperature of the night can drop to 2°C/35°F in November and the weather is quite dry. The first snow always comes in late November and it snows occasionally. Some of the dangerous passes such as the plank walk may be closed due to the heavy wind or fog in the bad weather. Therefore, you are suggested to check the weather forecast in advance before your visit.

By the way, it needs at least two days to hike all the peaks of the mountain without taking cable car. And it will be very cold at the peak, the temperature may fall below freezing at night, so the warm clothing as well as a pair of comfortable shoes are necessary. There are also stalls where you can rent long overcoat at a cost of about CNY30-50 on the mountain. Hope it helps.
