My friend and I will be in beiijing in April and we would like to spend a day visiting the terracotta army. Can you advise on the best way to do this?

Hi, Half day in the Terracotta Army is enough. We would like to suggest you add the ancient City Wall to make one day trip to Xian. If you take flight, we suggest the earliest flight and arrive in Xian around 09:00 and back to Beijing with a flight departing at around 20:30. You may also consider to take overnight trains between the two cities. In this case, you will have more time to tour Xian city.
