About:China Train Ticket Booking FAQ

When I bought my ticket they said it was not problem my whole name was not written, is this correct?

I bought my G15 ticket (Beijing - Shanghai) in an office inside Peking University. I have two last names: HIGUITA OTERO, but when I got the ticket it only shows HIGUITA OTER. (The last "O" is missing). I asked my friend who can speak chinese to ask the vendor if this is OK. The vendor said there is not much space to write there in the ticket, and that this will not be a problem. In the bottom of the ticket I see my passport number (two digits do not shown) and my almost complete last name. Will this be OK as the seller said? Thank you!

I think you refer to the name shows on the paper ticket right? If yes, that is fine. The full name never shows on the paper ticket unless you have very short name. A few passport numbers will also shows like * for personal information safety. If you refers to online booking, it is totally different. You need to offer full name and passport number.
