About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

savio from india i have been to china before on visit visa for 45 days .

i want to go again but for a longer period like 1year What kind of visa should i apply for and can i go to hong kong and extend it if required

You can probably stay in China for one year if you work or study in China, and then you need to apply for a work Z type or student X type.

ok thanks. suppose I go on a visit visa an I want to stay for a year to find a job how can I extend it can I go to hong kong an get an extention.
or what kind of visit visa should I apply for which later can be extended.
suppose I get a job offer but don't have a degree or experience but my employer is ready to get me a job visa can I apply for it.

If you don't get the work visa, it's illegal to work there. You cannot extend the visitor type in HK. You can only extend it in mainland, but you can extend it twice at most, so I don't think your idea is feasible.
