About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa requirements for HK entry/China reentry

Hi there. I am Australian and I currently live in Shanghai. I am just wondering about the visa requirements to get into HK via train and any re-entry permit requirement needed for re-entering China. Cheers.

James, you can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 90 days.
If you have residence permit in Shanghai, you can re-enter Shanghai. Otherwise, you need to apply for a tourist L type for China.
