About:Ngong Ping 360

Hi, my flight from seoul will have a stopover at HKIA at 22.55pm.

And flying to dXB the next day 16.35pm. 17 hours lay over (night time HK)
I was planning to take a nap in the airport then visit the Ngong Ping village. Is there a way i can tour around early morning then back to airport at 1pm?

as the cable car is closed how will i get there by bus and approximate travel time to and from the HKIA?

or is it better to stay in a hotel in the evening near ngong ping village to have enough time to tour around?

It's okay if you want to spend a night near the airport. You may get up early in the next morning and take a taxi at 8:00am to Tung Chung directly which will spend 10 minutes or so. Then it will spend about 45 minutes to take bus no.23 to the village. Usually, it takes 3-4 hours to visit the whole village. Therefore, it's possible for you to return the airport at 1:00pm and arrive at the airport before 2:00pm.

Thanks! that's what i'm planning to do or even just take a taxi from the village back to airport so it won't be a hassle- hopefully it won't be really expensive and difficult to take a taxi from there!
