Australian applying outside Australia

I am an Australian citizen currently travelling around the World. I need to apply for a tourist visa to visit China. I read that Australians applying from outside Australia need to provide a proof of residence from the country they live in. I am travelling, I do not have a proof of residence. How can I do?

Thomas, if you can provide valid visa for that country, or valid entry record, it can prove your legal stay in that country. And then you can still apply from there.
