Will the second half of October be less crowded with local tourists?How many days should we be spending in Chengdu to visit Leshan, Er Mei Shan and in the City?

Yes, there are several hotels on the Golden Summit. But they are expensive. Another choice is to stay overnight in Leidongping. It is about 2 hours' climbing from the Golden Summit and 10 minutes' cable car ride. Hotel rooms there are cheaper.
