About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

TRAIN RUTE

We plan to china for holiday on June 2017, my flight Jakarta to Beijing, Hongkong to Jakarta.
My itinery is Beijing, Hongkong, Shanghai, Chengdu, Zhang Jia Jie, GUILIN. Can you suggest the best rute ?

We plan to use the train...

Is possible 5 person ( 4 adult and 1 kid (11 years) ) in soft sleeper compartment ?

You may choose to go from Beijing to Shanghai first and then from Shanghai to Chengdu. Then from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie. There is no direct ride between, you can choose to transfer in Yichang or Huaihua first and then to Zhangjiajie. Next city can be Guilin. You may transfer to Huaihua or Changsha from Zhangjiajie and then to Guilin. Finally go from Guiln to HK via Guangzhou or Shenzhen. The soft sleeper cabin only allow 4 passengers, only the child under 120cm can share the bed with adult.
