About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I have a 1 year multipy entry visa, each stay is allowed for 30 days maximum.

My visa will expire mid April 2017. My question if can I stay in China after it expired? Obviously I will arrive before the expiry date.

Yes, you can stay in China after it expires. For example, if you enter on April 4th, your visa will expire in mid April, you can still stay for 30 days after your entry, and then exit.
