About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Type of Visa required to students

Hi, I'm Italian and I'm planning to spend 1 month studying at a school in Beijing. Can anybody tell me whether it's better to apply for a tourist (L) or an X2 student visa; please?

Fede, if you will stay in a hotel and you will book round-trip tickets together, or if you can get an invitation letter stating you will be in China for sightseeng, you can apply for a tourist L type. If you don't want to book hotels and round-trip tickets and you don't have the invitation letter, you can apply for an X2 type. In my opinion, you had better apply for an X2 type because it's more suitable for your travel purpose.
