About:China Work Visa

What class to apply for Z visa?

I got a job in Beijing and the company applied for Z type for me but got refused. My job is translator. Company said when applying online there was no selection for A, B or C type of foreign experts. The feedback from the authority is that I am not qualified as a foreign expert.
Could you please help clarify this?
And can I apply again even though I was recently refused Z type or working permit?
I am from Australia and in Beijing now.

Kay, if you are not qualified for a foreign expert certificate, you can ask your employer to get a alien employment for you, and then try again to re-apply the work Z type.

Thank you so much Yolanda. Do you mean "alien employment" as to get an external company and sign service contract with current company?
