About:China Transit Visa

24-hour transit

My arrival flight at 06:30am Mar 24 and the next flight is 08:00am on Mar 25. Can I wait at the arrival hall and enter the immigration at 08:01am Mar 24 so I can have free 24hrs transit? Wanna see a friend in PEK ;)

Josh, if so, you won’t qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing because you stay there for more than 24 hours. You need to apply for a visa for that.

Of course, I know it's more than 24hrs. My question is can I wait at the arrival hall and enter the immigration to stamp my passport around 8:01am then it would be less than 24hrs.
