Compatibility between Fire and Metak People

I am born on 05/17/1993 and my boyfriend on 05/27/1994. I was told that we were not a good match because he is "fire" and I am "metal". Is this true?

My advice to you is to look for more compatible mates, as Rooster and Dog make the worst couple according to the table on this page at Love compatibility. Your yearly elements are compatible, because yours is Water and his is Wood.
