About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing 21 hour stopover from Sydney to Barcelona - can we leave the airport on a visa-free transit?

Hello - we have a 21 hour stopover - NZ Passports - is it possible to leave the airport to visit somewhere nearby on the 72-hour free transit?

Thanks
Natalie

Natalie, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit to leave the airport to go to the city for a visit.
