worry about passport details

I filled out the information on the registration, however i am not comfortable providing passport details and pages, why do you need it?

Passport information is required to book flights, cruise tickets, hotels and the entrance tickets of some attrations, like Forbidden City. And also we need your passport copy to apply for the Tibet Travel Permit.
