About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

can i extend my S2 visa which says maximum duration of stay of 30 days when it expires in China?

i have a S2 type with a max stay of 30 days, can i extend it for another 90 days once it expires withour getting out of china? thank you. btw i will be staying with my sister

Adelwisa, you should apply for the extension 7 days prior to its expiry date at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. However, you cannot extend it for 90 days because the extended time cannot exceed the original duration of stay.

There is no specific limit on how many times you can apply for an extension. Just give it a try!
