Appointment Question & Trip ticket question.

When my friend go to Embassy, he just go straight coming, or he needs to make a appointment, if yes? How? Would you please send me the appointment links? Another question, when he comes to Embassy, he has to book around trip ticket? What if he doesnt sure when he go back to Poland? Maybe earlier?
