You are advised to take high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station directly. The train schedules are from 06:17 to 21:42. And the ticket fare of second class seat is CNY34.5, first class seat is CNY64.5 and business class seat is CNY119.5.

Kim, the train ride takes around 30min. You can either take subway or get on public bus at the train station to most tourist destinations.

Yes, it’s easy, since there are many bullet trains available a day. But you need to take subway line 2 and transfer to line 1 at People’s Square. After that, get off at Railway Station. Then you can take the bullet train to Suzhou. It costs CNY39.5 for a second class seat, CNY59.5 for a first one.
