About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing transit visa

Hi, I will be flying from Auckland to Beijing via Hong Kong but im transit only, I am then stopping in Hong Kong on my way back to Auckland 38 hours in Beijing, would they consider my fist arrival to have been from Auckland of Hong Kong as I am in transit

Your routing HKG-PEK-HKG requires a visa in advance because you are not in transit to a third country at Beijing.
