About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi! I fly from Tokyo to Shanghai (landing in the evening on the 28th)

and then fly Shanghai- Beijing - Chicago the next morning (the 29th). I have a British passport. What transit visa am I eligible for? The 24 hour transit?

You can have 24 hours transit in China without a visa, from scheduled arrival time in Shanghai to scheduled departure time from Beijing.
