Getting Chinese visa in UK

I am Australian but I also have a British passport. Can I use my British passport to apply for a China visa when I am in England before I go to PRC? (I can't apply for it in Australia as I will be outside of Australia in the three months before my PRC visit.) If I arrive in England 10 days before going to China, is that enough time to get my Chinese visa express? Thanks, Claire

Claire, yes, you can use British passport to make the application when you are in England. 4 working days are needed to get the result after you submit the application.
