About:Lantern Festival

I'm a foreign visitor, presently in Haikou, but I can't find much information here in English.

Where can I best experience the Lantern Festival in Hainan (several suggestions, please)?

You can go to Haikou Flowers World or Guanlan Lake Resort to guess lantern riddles and admire various beautiful lanterns. Volcano Park is also recommended place. You can attend the temple fair and praying activities there.

My web search of "Haikou Flowers World" didn't turn up much useful information, and the people here I've asked about it didn't know (or didn't understand) what I was talking about. Do you have its physical location? Or do you know its webpage?

I found a webpage for Volcano Park, and although it had some interesting information, I didn't see anything there about the Lantern Festival. Did I misunderstand you? Did you just suggest Volcano Park as an interesting place to visit, but NOT mean it was a good place for the Lantern Festival?

And, too, when I asked about Guanlan Lake Resort, I was only told "it's "very far." And then in a web search, I only found a location in Shenzhen, 15 or so hours from here by bus. Is that the place you were talking about?

Joyce,
I *did* get to the latern displays at "Ever Green Park" and was very happy to have gotten to see the dozens of parade-float sized lanterns. Thanks again.
