About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Two short visits to Shanghai within a three week period, can I use two visa exemptions?

I am travelling London to Shanghai and staying with family for 5 days. Then travelling Shanghai to Cambodia / Vietnam for 12 days, then travelling back to Shanghai for 3 days prior to returning to London from Shanghai. Can the two Shanghai periods be covered by separate exemption periods?
