About:China Private Visit Visa

I'm residing in China and my husband is coming here on a S2 visa.

Is it possible for me to extend it or change it to a family visa or an S2. Simple because I want him to stay here for as long as I am here?

If so, he can try to change the S2 type to an S1 type which can allow him to apply for a temporary residence permit. The residence permit may allow him to stay for a year in China.

You should first prepare the relevant documents including his passport, valid registration form of temporary residence, a fully completed application form, a passport-style photo, an invitation from your and copies of your passport and residence permit, as well your marriage certificate. Next, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to change the S2 to S1 type. It will take 7 working days to get the result.
