About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Departure from Kowloon via Airport Express Line

My flight is departing at 3:45 pm from Hong Kong Airport, i'm staying at Ritz Carlton. what time should I leave the hotel. what time i should check in to take the Airport express to airport?

You should arrive at the airport at least two hours in advance. To travel from the hotel to HKIA, shuttle bus A11 or E11 can be your choice and it takes at least around an hour. The duration can be almost the same by Airport Express. Considering other time waste, I suggest you leave the hotel around 12:00-12:30.

Base on my understanding is that the Express train frequency is every 12 mins and the journey from Kowloon only takes 25 mins. Don't you think this is the shortest and fastest way to get to the Airport?

Yes, you are correct. The interval is around 12 mins. The journey from Kowloon to HKIA is around 21 mins. And it is a convenient way for you. :)
